Bebop estimates how many words you know from what you review, what you mark as known and what you meet while watching and reading. It checks them against a reference list of 27,753 everyday words.

The Bebop Chrome extension shows one Japanese word each time you open a tab: its reading, meaning and kanji, three example sentences with furigana, and a full illustration. Choose any mix of levels from N5 to N1, or keep one word for the whole day. It works on its own, without the app.
